Marinated chicken wings

Marinated chicken wings This is recipe is really easy to prepare and absolutely delicious.
  • Mix 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 tbsp. honey, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. tomato paste, 1 tsp. chilli sauce, 1 tsp. sesame oil, 1 tsp. Chinese five spice powder, 2 cloves of garlic crushed, 1 knob of ginger finely chopped and 1/2 a cup of water or chicken stock in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add 12 chicken wings, coat them with the mixture and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  • The chicken wings can either be cooked on a baking tray in an oven preheated to 200ºC; or on a barbeque plate set to a medium/low heat. They'll take about 30 minutes to cook and should be turned from time to time.
  • Serve with steamed rice and Asian greens. Garnish with fresh coriander.
